When I’m not navigating the world of startups and saas, I’m often found embracing the great outdoors. Born and raised in the sun-kissed terrains of San Diego, CA, specifically the vibrant community of Ocean Beach, I’ve always had an affinity for the natural world. This love has manifested in my dedication to intense endurance sports. Whether it’s the rhythmic cadence of a run, the exhilarating speed of a bike ride, or the refreshing embrace of an open-water swim, every day is an adventure in motion for me. Triathlons and stage mountain bike racing aren’t just hobbies; they’re a testament to my belief in pushing boundaries and embracing challenges head-on.

But there’s another side to me, one that’s equally passionate and perhaps a bit unexpected: my profound love for Rottweilers. Over the years, I’ve not only raised these majestic creatures but have also trained several generations of high-performance search and rescue dogs. The bond I share with them goes beyond companionship; it’s about teamwork, trust, and a shared sense of purpose. And when we’re not on a mission, you might find us at dog shows, showcasing the elegance and prowess of this incredible breed.

Exploring cities on foot is another passion of mine. There’s something magical about discovering the hidden gems of a city, its stories whispered through alleyways, and its spirit echoing in bustling squares.

But at the heart of it all is my commitment to giving back. From mentoring at-risk youth, showing them the boundless possibilities that lie ahead, to volunteering in K9 Search and Rescue missions, every moment spent in service is a moment cherished. I’ve also had the privilege of teaching and coaching at San Diego State University, sharing insights on entrepreneurship and venture capital, hoping to inspire the next generation of innovators.

So, while business might be a significant part of my narrative, it’s these personal passions and commitments that truly define who I am. They are the threads that weave the tapestry of my life, each one telling a story of adventure, compassion, and relentless pursuit of excellence.
